This blog post from Adrian Short is about the Litl, a new computer - or more accurately an internet device designed for simplicity and ease of use. Its not a high spec machine for gamers but ideally suited for people who just want to surf the web, send emails or do basic word processing.

The Red Foundation working as part of the Capacitybuilders Modernising Volunteering work stream have just launched a new social networking platform for volunteers and volunteering.
The site contains lots of links, discussions and resources relating to volunteering and has features uses of other social networks (such as Twitter or Facebook) will recognise to help connect people together.
